The WIYLBOX mission was formed in response to the findings of poor nutrition in the special needs populations by the American Dietetic Association. WIYLBOX has developed a comprehensive nutrition and education, food service and food preparation training program that is interdisciplinary, preventive, family centered, community based and culturally competent, and it will be delivered within existing networks that provide services for children in underserved and low income communities.
