The Celiac Sprue Clinic at the Allegheny Center for Digestive Health can answer most all of your concerns and questions regarding your diagnosis of celiac disease. Our goal is to help our clients improve their quality of life and knowledge about celiac disease in the shortest time possible, utilizing a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care. Each client will meet one on one with a gastroenterologist, an internal medicine physician who specializes in nutrition, a dietician, a member of our integrated medicine team, and a representative from the local celiac support organization. Questions ranging from diagnosis and dietary changes to genetic concerns and cancer risks will be thoroughly answered. Appointments usually last from about 8am to noon, and follow ups are available for further care and assistance.
