I am still a mom on a mission. On a mission to find really tasty foods for my daughter to eat. I know she will get all the things that are good for her, fruits, vegetables, and meats. What about those fancy, tasty treats you find in the store? Well, the gluten free ones are really expensive, right? I am normally reluctant to purchase them before we know what they taste like, otherwise it might be a waste of a lot of money!
I got the opportunity to try some products from Shabtai Gourmet Gluten Free Bakery. They sent me 4 goodies to try.
We tried them all immediately when we opened the box. They were all wrapped tightly and were very fresh and moist. Our favorite was definately the chocolate roll. It tasted like a swiss cake roll! The cookies were both as good as they look. The rasberry roll was very good too. It is a rasberry filling rolled in a cake that tastes like pound cake then covered in coconut. We are not big fruit in the dessert/cake fans. We like the chocolate! But, it still was a very good tasting product if you like that type of dessert. I looked and didn’t see any stores in our area that sell this product, but you can purchase directly from the company. They have a flat rate shipping fee of $5.95 to anywhere in the United States. All of our their products are peanut free, gluten free, dairy free, casein free, soy free, lactose free, and corn free. They are also certified Kosher! It is nice to have things like this around the house so I can send them for a dessert for lunch when my daughter goes to co-op or to a friend’s party. This way she gets a tasty treat and doesn’t feel left out! The best thing is…even if you are not gluten free, these are great!
