Oh my sweet goodness! I came back to my dorm today to a sweet surprise- a great big sample box of baked goods from a dedicated bakery, Shabtai Gourmet. This allergy-friendly bakery makes delicious treats that happen to also be Gluten Free, Casein Free, Lactose Free, Soy Free, Dairy Free, Kosher for Passover, and Kosher Parve. Nice.

So how do they taste? Amazing! I tried a bite of their Swiss Chocolate Roll, which tastes like one of those Hostess chocolate things, the Raspberry Roll, which is fruity and indulgent, their Meltaway Pecan Cookies, which are great with a hot cup of coffee, and their Chocolate Chip Cookies which are crunchy, crispy, and not too sweet. I’ll definitely be ordering from Shabtai in the future- the texture and taste of these products is outstanding- definitely some of the best multi-allergy-friendly packaged food I’ve ever tried! The best part, too, is that while these are sweet treats to be saved for every once in a while, they are still made from high quality ingredients. No long lists of chemicals, hydrogenated oils, or artificial ingredients here! Only simple and organic indulgences. I can’t wait to try more from Shabtai!
